Two new releases with Phil Julian just released on Hideous Replica / Wasted Capital Since 2013.
‘Bind’ is the first studio-based work by Phil and I, it’s been a long time coming and it’s good to finally have it out. 11 tracks recorded from 2013-2016. Also out is the ‘Recorded Live at Cafe OTO [30.11.15]‘ C58 cassette. This is our live performance from the end of last year, opening for Anthony Childs & Ali Wade, nicely captured in the space.
Both are available to buy from Hideous Replica

The event, which will be presented as a one continuous performance, will feature a solo set each by John and I as well as a duo. It should be a fun evening.
The exhibition also features visual work by great artists such as Anne Bean, Camilla Bliss, Jeannie Driver, Sarah Roberts and Jasper Weinstein Sheffield.

SATURDAY 12TH MARCH 2016
I’ll be performing at the Audiograft Festival in Oxford on Saturday 12th March. I’ll be doing a performance of ‘The Intimate Sound System’ work adapted/expanded for this event/space. Looking forward to you. It’s the final show of the festival and will also feature performances by Anne F Jacques, Arnaud Riviere and Billy Roisz.

To finish off 2 days of workshops at The Whitechapel Gallery with local secondary school students, I’ll be doing a performance (open to the public) with participants on Thurs 14th Jan at 3pm. The workshops are called Sound without Music and we’ll be looking at non-traditional and experimental ways of exploring, presenting and performing sound based works. The performance will include some of the stuff we’ve covered in the workshops. I’m looking forward to performing with a group of young people that have never seen, used or experienced any of what we’ll be looking at before.
This workshop and performance is to accompany the exhibition Luke Fowler and Mark Fell: Computers and Cooperative Music-Making (23 October 2015-7 February 2016) at The Whitechapel Gallery, which looks at how the use of computers began to shape music-making through experimentation with unfamiliar techniques.
